PES society IEEE SB LBSCEK conducted a national-level webinar for the members on the topic "Train 18/Vande Bharat Project: The Story of an Engineer's Dream Turning into Reality on June 2, 2023. The session was coordinated by chair Arjun P, Akshay MR, and KE Nandagopal, and it was started with a welcome speech by Sandra R. Sudhanshu Mani Sir, the brain behind India's first semi-high-speed train, Vande Bharat Express, led the session. This was such an informative session where he shared his experiences working on this project and gave a brief on the technical side of the train. The main focus of the webinar was to share their journey to making this dream project a reality. The Q&A session conducted at last was really helpful for the members to know more about the topic, and Sudhanshu Mani sir was glad to clarify our queries. The session which was about one hour was concluded with a vote of thanks by Hridya Prabha M.
