Overview
The IEEE Power and Energy Society (PES) of LBSCEK organized an Idea Pitch Competition, providing a platform for students and young professionals to showcase innovative solutions in the power and energy sector. The event was held on 25-28 March at AD Block, attracting participants from various branches. A total of 8 teams participated, presenting their proposals on SMART BUILDING TECHNOLOGIES FOR ENERGY EFFICIENCY. The competition aimed to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaboration among participants. The judges' panel consisted of staff advisor IEEE Rensi Sam Mathew, who evaluated the ideas based on technical merit, feasibility, and potential impact. The competition was divided into two rounds, with each team presenting their idea within a stipulated time frame. The participants demonstrated exceptional creativity, passion, and knowledge in their respective domains. The event provided a valuable opportunity for networking, learning, and refining entrepreneurial skills. The winner was awarded a pen, and all participants received certificates of participation.
