STEM Sheroes Challenge

Overview

IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) Student Branch Chapter, IEEE SB LBSCEK organized the STEM Sheroes Challenge on 23 June 2026 in celebration of International Women in Engineering Day (INWED) 2026. The event was conducted online through Google Forms under the theme "Powering the Future: Women in Engineering, Energy & STEM." The competition aimed to raise awareness about the remarkable contributions of women in engineering, energy, and STEM while encouraging healthy academic competition among engineering students. A total of 50 participants (30 IEEE members and 20 non-IEEE members) from various engineering colleges participated in the challenge. Participants answered questions related to pioneering women in STEM, engineering innovations, and power & energy.

Participation

50 participants total from various engineering colleges. Top two performers received cash prizes; e-certificates were issued to all participants.
